Access The On Line Syllabus

Students are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the contents of the syllabus, it provides an introduction to the history of Karate, Shinrai Karate-Do and it’s founders, guidance on the correct etiquette to follow whilst in the Dojo, as well as a reminder of the the skills that you will be taught, and will need to practice, master and demonstrate in order to achieve each grade.

Access to the syllabus pages is restricted to the grade of the student; if you find yourself back on this page when clicking on a link, it means you have attempted to access a page for a grade that you’re not quite ready for.

The skills section for each grade are broken down into the following four sections :

Kihon : basics, covering the stances, blocks, strikes and kicks for each grade.
Strength and Fitness : the fitness tests you will need to pass
Kata : videos providing you a reminder of  the kata you will need to learn.
Kumite : the sparring tests you will need to pass.
